A Bit About Us

Greetings, My name is David and my wife's name is Wai.

Welcome to Thailand Tourism and Living.

A little about us

My wife is Thai, born in '69 (but she sure doesn't look it!) and I am Spanish American born in '74. We met back in 2004 while I was living in Bangkok, Thailand.

We got married and stayed in Thailand for about 4 years before moving to San Antonio, Texas in the good old U.S.A. We now travel between the U.S. and Thailand frequently.

My wife has two daughter's from a previous relationship and I have two sons from a previous relationship. Her two daughter's and my two sons are almost the same age as each other.

Now I know what your thinking, sounds like an intro to the Brady Bunch... but I won't go there :-)

My wife's talents are singing and sales. When I first met Wai in Bangkok she was a top sales lady at AIA Insurance. When her work was finished she would love to take me to karaoke and sing Thai songs for me, how could you not LOVE that!

Me, I've always been in computers and IT my whole life. I started out in the Marines and have worked for companies such as Intel, AT&T, and Microsoft. I have also worked for myself on and off for a number of years.

My wife and I have opened and maintained a variety of businesses in and out of Thailand which include: import/export, retail sales, computer repair and web building. I love all aspects of business but I'm most passionate about building and designing web sites for myself and others.

My number one goal and purpose here, above all else, is to leave you with something of value.

Leave you with something more than you came with, whether it's knowing where to stay and travel, how to save money, gather visa info, or just learning something new and entertaining about Thailand.

We are also very aware of Thailand's ups and downs (knowing about Thailand is our life) and through it all Thailand still is and always will be a wonderful, magical place in our hearts. We also believe it will be a place you will always cherish as well when you come to know more about it, if you don't already.
